Solo for Two

Created and performed at the Play Practice Artist Residency, India, 2020.

'Solo for Two' is a structured improvisation duet, exploring themes of touch and absence of touch.

The dancers begin in solo movement, with elements of a 'question-answer' structure, developing into a playful yet sensitive Tango.

Throughout the duet, Anna and Soma experiment with various aspects of touch and texture: the solidity of their surroundings, internal body movements, sounds hitting eardrums, the feeling of their own flesh, and that of the other.

Solo for Two was created and performed at the Play Practice Artist Residency, Bengaluru, India, 2020.
